Verification

A person's name is attached to every verified item.

Verification at JMUSY is not a quality-assurance sample. Each item that reaches a client as verified was opened, checked against its primary source and signed off by a named analyst.

The three statuses

Awaiting Verification

AI has extracted the item and queued it. It is visible to clients but explicitly marked as unverified, and JMUSY publishes no analysis on it.

Human Verification in Progress

A pulsing indicator shows an analyst is checking the item right now. The reviewer is identified while the review is underway.

JMUSY Verified

A solid indicator, the reviewer's name and title, the review timestamp, the completed checklist and the full audit history.

The checklist

Same five checks, every item.

  • 01Figure traced to primary source document
  • 02Period and units confirmed
  • 03Prior-period comparison recalculated
  • 04Management language quoted in context
  • 05No unsupported inference in summary

Clients see how many checks were completed and can open the full verification record on any item.

Jeremy Minnick is currently the sole research analyst at JMUSY and personally verifies every item published to clients.

As the research team grows, each researcher will have an optional profile photo, name and title displayed to clients on the items they verify. Reviewer identity is part of the record, not a marketing page.

AVDX · Key Change/JMUSY Verified

Backlog disclosure changed from annual to quarterly reporting

The company began disclosing order backlog on a quarterly basis in its latest 10-Q, a change from prior annual-only disclosure. Backlog stated at $4.18B versus $3.91B in the prior comparable disclosure.

JMUSY Analysis

The disclosure cadence change is the notable item, not the backlog level itself. More frequent backlog reporting reduces the information gap between reporting periods and should be treated as a change in disclosure policy when comparing to prior periods.
